God makes us weak so that we can learn how to be strong.
God gives us special people with unique needs so that we may learn compassion.
God gives us trials so that we may learn appreciation.
If the world was perfect we would appreciate nothing, nor would be have a desire or longing to make the world better.
God brings us to our knees so that we can learn to lean on Him.
God brings us to crisis so that we may learn to call upon His name.
The evils of the world come to us through the weaknesses of those without Christ. They cannot recognize, much less resist or defend themselves against the will of Satan. Christ gives us safe harbor from evil, when we ask.
People ask, "How could God let this happen?" but I believe that God does not want terrible things to happen to us. When bad things happen it is because sin overcame the weak. Those in Christ are made strong through His Grace.
I think God provides an opportunity for learning when we witness the evil in our world. We recognize the evil. He wants us to be aware of the damage that sin can do in our lives.
The innocent suffer because sin overtakes others. When we lean on God, in the Name of Jesus Christ, we are made strong.
Those who blame God for everything are usually the ones who do not know Him or His saving grace.
All things are made clear to me in my prayers with God. When I ask God to speak to me, He speaks many words.
Those who do not seek Him will NOT FIND HIM.
We often ask God to prove Himself to us, but when do we prove OURSELVES to Him?
Trust in the Lord and He will lead you to His kingdom.
God wants to be part of our lives, but He granted us free will, the choice to call upon him or not. God must be sought out. Our free will affords us the opportunity to be in His presence or not. He does not pressure us one way or the other, but so many people as 'where is He?'.
We should never question the work that God is doing. We can never fully appreciate nor understand the Masterplan.
Lives have been transformed, plans set into motion by God with just one individual.
Jim Elliott was one of the greatest missionaries to grace this earth in the last century. He wrote this in his journal: "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose." I found this to be one of the most profound statements I have ever read.
So, if you were to ask me if God exists, I will proclaim yes over and over again. God is at work in my life. I feel that too many people whine, moan and groan about how God does not come to them and prove to them that He exists. This disgusts me and only adds proof to my theory that we are very spoiled as humans. We always expect everyone to bend over backwards to prove things to us. We are not worthy of the power to have things proven to us. We must be humbled and realize that WE must be proving OURSELVES to GOD, not the other way around. A relationship with God is something that NO ONE can take away from you. Not other people, not the government, not any law.
I must say once more: THOSE WHO DO NOT SEEK HIM WILL NOT FIND HIM. There is evil in this world because sin has been set free in our world. Those who know God can avoid and even be forgiven of their sins. I know it is difficult to turn away from sin because it is what we are used to, it can even be fun. God loves the sinner though, He is willing to forgive us, help us and put us back on the right track when we fall short of His glory. Those who do not know God only know sin. When bad things happen in this world it is because sin has overtaken the person. This causes people to murder, rape, steal, lie, cheat and more. God can protect you from the sins of the world if you believe in Him and trust Him.
I do not expect that everyone will agree with my views but I am a Christian and I believe that my voice needs to be heard. There will come a day when we will face the maker face to face. We will have to answer for the life that we lived, the choices that we made and will have to explain ourselves to God. There will be no time for believing then. God grants us the chance to trust in Him and believe in Him here on earth. It is always easy to believe once you have seen the truth. God asks us to believe in FAITH.
I hope that this article is helpful to someone who is searching for answers. Jesus proclaimed in the Bible that He would deny Him on earth would be denied by Jesus, before the Father, in Heaven. Don't you want Jesus to know your name when that day comes? Don't you want Jesus to say to the Heavenly Father, "I know this one, this one belongs to me."
Lastly, let me add that anyone can have a relationship with God. God loves us all. No matter what sins you have in your past, no matter your political affiliation, color of your skin etc. There is a place for you in Heaven if you are willing to trust the Lord. Anyone can be saved, God loves us all.
