Does God Still Answer Prayer?---YES!!!

God answered prayer almost immediately.

September: two thousand and three.

Wildfires were burning out of control when a call came to a Mom to pray.

A Daughter in California was watching the flames which were only three miles away.

Family and pets were ready to evacuate,keeping abreast of the news,

While three thousand miles away in North Carolina there was quite a different view.

At a church in Kernersville the people joined hands and prayed.

No evacuation was necessary .

The fires were contained or out the very next day.

Fast forward ahead--two-thousand and seven.

Again the smoke is filling the heavens.

The same group gathered in the same church to pray.

The winds diminished.All but one fire was contained by the very next day.

That one fire was fifty percent contained and no threat to Santee at all.

Yes, God really does answer prayer today.

All you have to do is believe. He's just waiting for your call.

(as the fires are contained,normally, they are allowed to burn themselves out so there is less to fuel another one at a later date.)

p.s.( The emphatic yes !!!,in the title was added by a customer of mine at the convenience store where I work.
I left the room for minute.When I returned he was laying my pen down.He looked back over his shoulder as he walked across our lot to see if I was looking.
We smiled and waved at each other. Yes,I will include his input and glad to meet another beleiver.)
