Does Your Man Follow the Bro Code?

I was watching the Tyra Banks show today and the topic was the bro code. So, I thought that I would explain a little about it just in case you missed it.

You've met this great guy. He is everything you are looking for. You're madly in love with him. When you and him are together, you have the best of times. There is only one nagging thing about your relationship. His friends!

When they call him does he answer right away? Does he drop everything to help his friend? Does he take his friends side before yours? Sound familiar? Well, here's your sign! It's the bro code.

What is the bro code you ask? It's when your man will go out with the guys on a regular basis even if it interferes with your personal schedule. He will support his buddy in any emergency. If given the choice he will choose to hang out with his buddies instead of you. Lets say he has a buddy who is cheating on his woman. will he tell? Definitely not! Secrets are a big part of the bro code.

Basically, the bro code means that your man will put his friends first before you. Can you compete with that? Well, I can tell you that it will be very stressful. I know at first you want to be a part of your mans friends group. But after awhile he will be asked to make a choice between you and his friends. If he chooses his friends you really don't have a chance at this point.

So, what do you do about this! I have the answer for you. How do I break the bro code?

Rule # 1 When does a man break the bro code? The only time a man will break the bro code is when his woman can hang out with her man the same as his friends. Put it this way, be like one of his buddies. watch sports with him. Make him feel comfortable around you. Keep secrets that he tells you. Other than being his woman, try to be his friend. only than may he stay home with you more often.

Rule # 2 When will the man break the bro code completely? There is only one time that a man will completely break the bro code. You need to be his everything. You need to provide him all the things that his friends can provide. Friendship, support and loyalty are the top things that you need to provide to him. He will see that and slowly he will decrease the time with his friends. And, he will choose you when they call him to hang out!

The most important thing to remember is that now that you worked so hard to get your man don't blow it. Don't do this only to prove to his friends that he will choose you over them. That is just spiteful and cruel. Just be thankful that you have your friend, buddy and soul mate as a partner. And, enjoy your relationship together with your new man. And remember, Happiness is the hardest to find these days!
