Does Nicole Kidman Fear Scientology's Policy of Disconnection?

Paul Haggis, a former Scientologist now publicly speaks out against the Scientology religion for more than one reason, and Haggis goes so far as to suggest that Tommy Davis, "the face of Scientology," lied about the existence of a "disconnection policy," according to Radar Online. Haggis insists in a letter to Davis that they both know the policy exists, and Haggis even provides a detailed family account of employment of such policy. In fact, Haggis outlines how this can occur when family members offend the Church of Scientology.

Is this what happened in the marriage of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman? America knows Tom Cruise to be a practicing Scientologist, but Nicole Kidman isn't. (According to the Herald Sun, she married Keith Urban in a Catholic ceremony.) Imdb tells that Scientology "...often caused friction in their marriage." Did Scientology cause friction to the point of divorce? Even now, Nicole Kidman refuses to speak out against Scientology, according to the Herald Sun. Why, though? Does Nicole Kidman fear being on the losing end of the "disconnection policy"?

Nicole Kidman has two kids, Isabella and Connor, with Tom Cruise. According to CNN, the Cruise kids are being raised as Scientologists, so does Nicole fear being separated from her kids if she speaks out against Scientology? According to Haggis' claim on Radar Online, the "disconnection policy" comes into play when a family member offends the Church of Scientology, so Nicole Kidman holds some real worries if this is true. Is it really right, though, for a group to silence others?

Silencing others is a type of oppression, isn't it?

Excellent ♥ thanks for sharing - it's hard to say why Nicole Kidman is concerned.
