Obama has distanced himself from the Reverend Wright that is pastor of his church. The thing I find hard to believe is that if he has been in this church since 1990, how come this preacher never expressed himself about his feelings on American before now? No he is not guilty by association; but he is by being so gullible as to believe in this man.
Of course you would not want anyone thinking you hated white people if you were trying to get their votes for President, but certainly his preacher expressed his feeling on this before now. After all Obama has been in this church for 18 years or was he deaf or was he trying to hide this fact? That is the question.
Let me say I am not a racist; never have been, never will be. I have lived a lot of places and shared my life with all sorts of people. I have great black neighbors, as well as ones of other colors and nationalities but this can no have come as shock to Senator Obama, after all Wright was part of his campaign.
I understand they are redoing the primary vote in some places in Iowa now, because of this new information so that people can change their votes. Will this make any difference to the Obama run for the top office in this country. I don't know. However, when someone you knows and supports you accuses this country of bringing on the Sept. 11th attacks by spreading terrorism. I would not say they were doing this in the best interest of our country.
Yes Obama has denounced this statement, but it still remains that his friend and pastor of his church for the past 18 years said it.He apparently meant i as well. It should not have come as a surprise to Senator Obama. If indeed he was surprised by this remark, then it goes to show how immature Senator Obama is in the ways of politics and the world.
I said it before and I'll say it again, this may is too young and inexperienced to run the government of this country. Maybe in another few years he will grow up; I'm not knocking the man. He is a good man, but need more understand of how things works and what people really think before we should entrust this countries future to his hands. He is naive and a novice on what goes on in this world.
I would hope that people will become aware of his attributes but also his pitfalls as well.
In my humble opinion, this man is not ready to be our President, not because he is black, but because he doesn't have the experience to handle thing right now. Please rethink how you feel about him and his campaign before it is too late.

Post a CommentWell, it's all over and Obama is your President, so there!
This whole thing is so wild! Wonderful report.
Very scary ...and so very sad !!!....
Very well written and I totally agree on this, wonderful job!!!!!!!!!
Obama's affiliation in any way with this man is frightening. Sorry, but that's how I feel. But Obama himself scares me just as much as Bush scares many others. I never thought I'd say HIliary is a better choice in anything, but here, I would definitely vote for her before I'd throw away any vote that might help elect Obama.
Interesting piece. It seems, every week, a new surprise is uncovered. What's next for Obama? What does he really stand for? (By the way, good points from Kim. )
Terrific read. Too little, too late, I think.
Yes Kim I agree with you. I just hope it doesn't ruin his future in politics. although I am not for him I think he could be a moving force toward having some changes made in congress.
Very well written! I agree with you 100% and think Obama has waited too late to start backpedaling now ... not that I was rooting for him anyway.
Very well written. The more we hear about Reverend Wright the more concerned I become. Mostly because as the wife of a pastor I know how the church scene works. If someone has attended a church for almost 20 years I can guarantee that they agree with most of the tenets of the church and pastor. As offensive as Wrights statements are, a person would not continue to support him and his church financially, etc. if they didn't agree with his world view. It just doesn't happen. Unfortunately for Barack, I believe his recent separation from this pastor and church has come a bit too late. The damage has already been done and I don't see how he will be able to repair it.
