Is Obama a US Citizen?
Throughout Obama's campaign, the Obama camp has attempted to provide evidence to discredit the claims, including Obama's birth certificate. This has not quelled the storms of questions nor lawsuits which have been launched questioning Obama's eligibility. Although ensconced in the White House, instead of have the rumors end, there is a growing number of persons that believe Obama's birth certificate had been falsified. This group is known as the birthers".
Allegations Against Obama
Per the US constitution, "no person except a natural born citizen... shall be eligible to the office of President". If Obama's birth certificate is a forgery he has no right to be president. Some persons allege Obama was born in Kenya; others believe he has Indonesian citizenship. There is yet another group that believes he is too British to be president.
Documentation
In June 2008, in an attempt to stop rumors that Obama's middle name was Muhammad, his campaign made public his birth certificate. This document certified that he was born at 7:24 pm on August 4 in Honolulu, Hawaii. There were corresponding birth announcements in the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin in 1961; these newspapers get their information from Hawaii's Department of Health.
Questions Remain
Despite the publication of the scanned birth certificate, questions related to its authenticity remain in the minds of certain people. It was believed that the birth certificate lacked the official stamp, seal or signature or these had been faked. According torepresentatives, from the Annenberg Public Policy Center's Political Fact Organization, the examined the hard copy of the document are valid.
New Rumors
After the authentication by the Annenberg Public Policy Center's Political Fact Organization, new rumors emerged; this was as a result that the form which was authenticated was a computerized record (not the original hand-written, long form, "Certificate of Live Birth"). It appears Hawaiian law Certifications of Live Births to be issued persons born abroad.
WorldNetDaily, is the website leading the charges against Obama. They believe Obama to be the anti-Christ.
Lawsuits
Of the lawsuits filed, in an attempt to disprove Obama's ineligibility to be in office, one such lawsuit has drawn the most attention. It was brought by lawyer Leo Donofrio; Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas presented it to other justices for discussion. The lawsuit contended that although Obama was born in Hawaii he still had foreign citizenship at birth.www.youtube.com/watch.
According to the suit, "Since Barack Obama's father was a citizen of Kenya [Kenya did not receive its independence from British East Africa until 1963], and therefore subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of Senator Obama's birth, then Senator Obama was a British citizen 'at birth', just like the framers of the Constitution, and therefore, even if he were to produce an original birth certificate proving he were born on US soil, he still wouldn't be eligible to be president."
The justices decided not to grant a writ of certiorari (this legal term means that a lower courts ruling dismissing the lawsuit will stand).
IMHO
I don't think we will never know the truth of the documents in question; papers can be forged and things can be covered up. It is hard to be 100 percent certain of anything in this life. If the birth certificate is false, and I'm not saying it is, so be it. There is a very interesting You Tube Video out that I believes sheds some interesting light on the subject that includes a statement from Michelle Obama. If the birth certificates are found to be false, I believe he will be impeached when I see it. I'm pretty jaded when it comes to our political machinery.
For the Christian camp, who belief Obama is the anti-Christ, if he is so be it. The coming of the anti-Christ signals the end of the world (or thereabouts depending on your belief system); it will ultimately usher in Christ's return. Do you remember what the angels said after Christ ascended into heaven? They said, "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." Acts 1:11. In other words, don't worry about tomorrow (another good scripture verse), do what God has charged you to do. Let God be God and He will handle the rest.

It wouldn't matter if both his parents were not American citizens. As long as he was born on US soil, he is an American citizen. That's why mothers from Mexico come to America to have their babies if they can get here. So it doesn't matter whether his father was still a citizen of Kenya or not. It's just like any other baby born in the US with one parent a US citizen and one parent who isn't. The baby is still a natural born US citizen.
As far as I am concerned it is too late! He is president now, people can just deal with it. Great article.

These questions should have been settled before he was put in office. Once in office, enough is enough. Kinda like the Michael Jackson brew-ha-ha that won't go away. That man is dead and this should be a dead issue.
His mother was a natural born American citizen, who gave birth in a state in the U.S. That made Obama a natural born American citizen. All this nonsense is just another example of the republicans not caring how they embarrass this country by waving dirty linen (or perceived dirty linen) in public. (E.g., Clintongate.)
