RegCure 1.5.0.0 by Pareto Logic Software is the edition tested for this review, and is the latest version of RegCure's Windows registry cleaner tool. If your computer starts slow, you have a slow computer speed, or you are sick of computer freezes, RegCure can certainly fix corrupt registry files and get your PC performance to like new again.

This RegCure review is the modified version of a more complete review at the site linked at the end of this article.

RegCure is a top name in the PC registry repair industry. The bottom line is that you cannot go wrong by utilizing this software to do a Windows registry fix. RegCure proved to be effective for each step of the test process. There are some strengths to highlight as well as a few weaknesses to expose.

Ease of Use/Download:

The RegCure software interface downloaded in less than a minute and was incredibly easy to utilize. The customizable scan options make this software a good choice for either a novice or more advanced user.

Unique Capabilities and Features:

One unique feature of RegCure was the extensive "knowledge base" at their website. In addition, the user application has a good range of setting choices, which allows you to manage RegCure scans to your liking.

Repair and Scanning Choices:

RegCure has all of the major Windows registry cleaner scan areas needed of a proper registry repair tool. This includes Com/Active X, Uninstall Entries, Font Entries, Shared DLLs, Application Paths, Help Files Information, Windows Startup Items, File/Path References, Program Shortcuts, Empty Registration Keys, and File Associations.

Weaknesses:

After a rigorous RegCure review, there aren't as many bells and whistles as another product we tested called Registry Easy. We also had some challenges removing the File/Path References errors the first time we conducted the repair. The second round did clear 100 percent of them.

Even though we didn't need any support during the test procedures, we had questions that arose two times. A response never came for the assigned ticket numbers issued from their support team. We can write this off to being the "Holiday Season" at the time we reviewed RegCure. The product handled itself just fine even without needing support assistance. Still, it was concerning.

We would have also liked to see a few additional optimization tools like Registry Easy offers, but this characteristic isn't required since this software is intended to repair registry problems and not to serve as a system optimizer.

Problems Fixed/Recommendation:

RegCure is one of our top picks of the six best registry cleaners reviewed at the site linked below. The best, in our opinion, is still Registry Easy. You can compare features of the top registry software products at the site linked below.

RegCure detected 1,696 errors in the tested computer. After the repair of the referenced errors, we ran two other PC registry fix programs and only 41 File/Path Reference errors were found, which gives us great confidence about the effectiveness of RegCure.

The software is competitively priced for their full version and has a one year license. Before purchasing the full version of RegCure, utilize the free scan feature to save money in case you don't have any legitimate errors found.
