Does a Terrorist Live Next Door to You?
There Are More Victims of Crimes of Terror Committed by U.S. Citizens Against Other U.S. Citizens Than American Victims of Foreign Terrorist Attacks Each Year
Each time he hits, strangles, or spits on his wife or child
Road raging violent drivers who kill
Rapists, murderers, and pedophiles
Or local community drug dealers and gang members
Rioters on American soil during tragedies or natural disasters
Individuals who use fear to control and harm others for an individual or collective gain
Should ALL be regarded as
Terrorists just the same, regardless of location or citizenship.
1 in 4 women and 1 in 8 men have reported experiencing domestic violence, which is an act of terror by one individual who claims to love another individual. Did you know that more than 3 women are killed each day by a husband or boyfriend in the United States of America? Did you know this equals more women killed by husbands or exboyfriends in the US than terrorists killing U.S. citizens each year? Love is not abuse. A loving spouse or partner would not use abuse to coerce, control, or manipulate his or her partner.
Domestic violence is terrorism against a family, a community, and our society at large. Non-political terrorism is defined as violence with a "conscious design to create and maintain a high degree of fear for coercive purposes, but the end is individual or collective gain rather than the achievement of a political objective" according to that National Advisory Committee on Criminal Justice Standards and Goals.
American citizens who rape, steal, murder, deal illegal drugs, and commit acts of violence or create a fearful environment through threats and intimidation are Americans committing terrorism in our own nation and walking our own streets. The only reason we don't send armies of soldiers after them is because they are American citizens.
Does being an American citizen give an individual the right to walk around and put other nonviolent citizens at risk? When a terrorist group attacks the United States of America, what do we do? We send our armies all over the world to fight a war against terrorists but what is being done about the terrorists on our own soil terrorizing our own citizens? We try to prevent another attack. Is American, your government, your politicians, and the laws in our nation working hard with your tax payers dollars to protect you, your children, your grandchildren, and your businesses from the terrorists walking the streets in the United States? Or are these terrorists protected by a slew of "rights" and "freedoms" to continue to commit repeated acts of terror?

Post a CommentI can remember when you could leave your doors unlocked. Today we must triple lock them. So sad, isn't it?
I agree. These are serious times and your advice is well taken. Nicely done.
Valid points, Heather!
So true.
Yes, I agree. This article made me think.
Thought provoking & creative.
I research an area before I move and research my neighbors too. : ) A friend of mine had a professor who said, if a psychopath moves next door what do you do? Move. Good advice. God bless.
Most people have no idea who (or what) lives next door to them ...
If we look "the other way" it makes us an accessory to the crimes against our neighbors! Great article, cheers.
Scary!
