Does Tiger Woods Owe Former Porn Mistress and Other Mistresses an Apology?

Since the world according to Tiger Woods began its spiral, women have come out of the perpetual woodwork to prove an intimate connection to the once haloed golfer. Even an ex-porn star feels compelled to stake a claim for this trophy of shame (as if there were not enough accomplishments in her former line of work). What may be more surprising is the fact that some of these women who wear the big M for mistress, Miss ex- porno included, feel they deserve an apology from Tiger Woods himself. Should Tiger Woods apologize to his former porn mistress and others with whom he carried an affair? Does the role as Tiger Woods mistress warrant this kind of consideration? Sorry gals, but not in the real world.

One definition for mistress on Dictionary.net defines it as, "A woman filling the place, but without the rights, of a wife; a woman having an ongoing usually exclusive sexual relationship with a man, who may provide her with financial support in return". Miss porn mistress may have a problem with the"exclusive" portion of this definition due to her former line of work, but I see nothing that warrants an apology to any of the Tiger Woods concubines here.

As mistress to Tiger Woods these women gained what they set out to gain. They slept with golf's golden boy who was on top of his world, a married man who had money to give them for their service (There is a name for that). Miss former porn mistress and others knowingly took affection from Elin Woods and her children. They gained, they took, they jumped on the band wagon not to be outdone, and they chose the circumstances in which they now wallow. Who is it that is owed an apology, other than Elin as his wife?

Choosing to become a mistress to Tiger Woods, Miss Ex-Porno and company knowingly hurt others and lessened themselves to achieve this goal of sullied infamy. Just as the definition states, a mistress is "Without the rights of a wife". There are no rights to an apology, there are no rights awarded to someone who conducts life by thieving from others.

Tiger Woods issued an apology on February 19^th to those that he had wronged, and who were deserving of such an apology. His apology did not include the former porn mistress or any of the women who were at the core of his transgressions. The fact that Woods' past porn squeeze and others were not included in this apology came as no surprise. As the definition for mistress states, the former porn star and other women bearing the big M are "without the rights", and undeserving of a gesture of this merit. However, that does not mean that Tiger Woods former porn mistress and others do not have many things they do deserve, an apology is just not one of them.
