Does Tiger Woods Still Exist?

Every single person in the world with a computer and blog has written about Tiger Woods. They have given their opinion on the issue. They have advised what they would have done in Tiger's shoes or even advised what they thought Tiger should have done. Just add me to that group for one brief instant. I have written in earlier blogs that I feel like a lot of the backlash against Tiger is simply because of his relationship with the media throughout his pro career. There has been no relationship. The media has felt scorned and now it is payback time. Tiger's personality and attitude has never endeared him to anybody, besides 14 women and than number could be different tomorrow. I know there are some people out there who must feel that Tiger is getting crushed by everyone and that it is completely unfair. I would agree that he has been getting crushed but it is entirely his fault. Some of you might be saying, yeah he had the affairs so it is his fault. That is not what I mean. Until he speaks out personally, until we hear his voice, we will all continue to speculate and write blogs based on what we have before us. Throughout his career he has amazed with incredible shots. He has come through in pressure situations more than anybody can count on 25 hands. Unfortunately, he has also presented us with this image of being better than anybody and everybody in everything. It is okay to be cocky but at least show us a different side every once in a while We all thought this little incident might have humbled him. Maybe he would show us a side we all longed for but never saw. Instead, he continues to hide behind everything in sight. I have no problem with him keeping a low profile. I truly respect him for wanting to work on his marriage and believe it or not I believe he does want to save his marriage. I think all of us just want to see him stand up and say verbatim, "I messed up. I am sorry for my actions." If he stood before the media and just said that sentence I think the healing process could begin. Instead, we will all continue to speculate and focus on the negative qualities of this incredible athlete. We just want to hear him say sorry, not on his website, not through his public relations team. We want to actually hear the words.
