You can skip to the last paragraph to find out, or read the rest for a bit of information.
I am not a doctor, or a health care expert. I will tell you what I know from personal experience. You must consult a doctor and get a prescription in order to purchase Viagra.
Sildenfil Citrate (Viagra) first became available in 1998. The little blue pill comes in doses of 25, 50, and 100 milligrams. No more than one pill per day can be taken. Directions state that the pill should be taken between one half hour and four hours before sexual intercourse. The pill should be taken on an empty stomach, since the meal may interfere with the effectiveness of the drug.
Possible side effects from Viagra include headache, flushing, upset stomach, vision problems--which might include seeing everything with a blue tint--and other side effects. There may be some serious side effects such as heart attack, stroke, low blood pressure, eye pressure, hearing loss, and priapism, and others.
You should not take Viagra if you take organic nitrates or nitrites, have slow liver function, impaired kidney function, low blood pressure, heart problems, and many other ailments. Only your doctor can diagnose these problems and determine whether Viagra is suitable for you.
Now--with that all out of the way let's get down to the meat of the subject.
Does Viagra work?
Yes, but not for everybody. In laboratory tests Viagra has some effectiveness on 80 percent of the men tested. For those who do not have ED Viagra shows little effect in lower doses. I can tell you for a fact that Viagra will not allow you to do anything you couldn't do when you were younger or without ED. No humongous erection. No 4 hour erection. No super lover stuff. If you were a poor lover before Viagra you still will be. You will pretty much react and perform as you normally would have before ED.
Personal experience with Viagra taken on an empty stomach is a flushed, warm face, after 15 to 30 minutes. Rarely a slight headache. Some stomach upset during and after the experience, but it was easily controlled. No vision, or other problems at all. Even with Viagra you will not experience an erection without stimulation. The stimulation can be external, or internal. An imagination or anticipation of what is to come is a great stimulus. The erection is pretty normal and lasts from 15 to 30 minutes. Without stimulation you will loose the initial erection.
This is about all I can tell you. Viagra works. I suspect it helps many more men than you think.
