Alpen Rose RV Park is located at 27847 US 550 North, Durango, Colorado and may be the perfect location for RVers who travel with their dogs. This RV Park offers its guests a pet playground, which is a large piece of fenced property where the dogs can enjoy some time off of their leash outside of their RV. There is also a pet walking service for those who may need it which can be very handy if the RVer will be spending a lot of time outside their RV during the day. For more information on Alpen Rose RV Park, call 970-247-5540 or go to www.alpenroservpark.
Durango East KOA is located at 30090 US 160, Durango, Colorado and Durango North KOA is located at 13391 County Road, Durango, Colorado. Both of these KOA RV Parks welcome dogs along with their RVing parents but there are a few rules that they will have to follow. No dogs staying at either of these KOA RV Parks can be aggressive or hostile, if they are, they and their parents or owners will be asked to leave the property. Dogs outside their RV must be on a leash that is no longer than 6 foot and if they are tied or tethered outside the camping unit, they must be attended. Dogs with good manners are always welcome just about anywhere and these two RV Parks are no different. Dogs that bark excessively may not be the best RVer as they will bother their neighbors and then their owners will be looking for another place to park the RV. Also, all dogs must be cleaned up after. For more information on Durango East KOA call 907-247-0783 or for more information on Durango North KOA call 970-247-4499 or you can go to www.koa.com.

Also, no dogs can be left unattended while they are in the campground or while they are tied up outside either to a tree or to their RV. Dogs are not allowed in the park's pool area or in any of the buildings located on the park. They are also not to be allowed to roam or be walked through the tent area of the park. Manners are necessary for staying here with a dog just like any where else. Remember to clean up after your dog and to make sure it is not aggressive or barks to much.
