Cherokee Campground and RV Park
Cherokee Campground and RV Park, located at 2800 Highway 93 in Helena, Alabama also welcomes those RVers who are traveling to the Birmingham, Alabama area with their dog or dogs. Even though dogs are very welcome at this RV Park, they do enforce the Shelby County Leash Laws which states that all dogs must have a current Rabies tag on them. For more information on Cherokee Campground and RV Park, interested RVers can call 205-428-8339 or go to www.cherokeecamp.tripod.com/index.htm.
All RVers who travel and stay at any RV Park should keep in mind the common rules that are expected when they include their dogs on their travels. Well-behaved dogs are always more welcome than those that are not well-behaved. They should not be walked on other rv sites, they should always be on a leash whenever they are outside their rv, they should never be left alone outside their rv, they should always be picked up after and they should remain as quiet as possible. If all Rvers who have dogs that travel with them follow these few simple rules then the chances of more dog friendly RV Parks could be more of a reality than less dog friendly RV Parks.
