Donna McPherson, says she left her ten year old Westie, in front of the Ace Supermarket, "for two minutes." She was reviving up for the snow storm that was headed toward New York.
When she returned out the door of the supermarket, she immediately noticed that Lexi's green wool coat with leather trim and belt was gone.
Fortunately (notice the point) Lexie wasn't wearing his pricier Burberry. (Humph this dog dresses better than I do).
I asked him McPherson says, "Where's your coat?' like he could answer me. I looked all over and could not find its. Did she think he had taken it off humiliated because of wearing a green wool coat and left it in a corner somewhere?
Normally McPherson doesn't leave Lexi outside stores, but thought it would be a quick store visit. As she paid for the milk, she remembers a "funny bark." Yeah maybe he was barking, "Someone help, I've just been mugged, there he goes, get him!"
McPherson, said she knew that she would have to make it up to her traumatized pooch, so she bought him two new coats (she didn't say if they were Abercrombie & Fitch or J. Crewe).
McPherson being a investment banker could afford of course to buy her baby only the best.
