Dog-Loving Oklahoma Woman Diagnosed with Breast Cancer
Catherine Titus, a Homeless Woman in Wilson, Oklahoma, Begins the Battle for Her Life
However, it is now time for Catherine Titus to focus on taking care of herself. Today, she received the lab results of a biopsy taken last week by Dr. Scott Carpenter, DO, a general surgeon in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Dr. Michael Carnahan, M.D., reviewed the lab report indicating the lumps in Ms. Titus' left breast are the result of invasive ductile carcinoma cells. As always, armed with a positive attitude, Catherine is fearlessly determined to win this fight against breast cancer. She is scheduled for a surgical consultation with Dr. Carpenter on Tuesday, April 28.
As a result of the worldwide publicity last January, animal rights groups throughout the state have assisted Ms. Titus in caring for her pets. Walmart and Tractor Supply donated some petfood. An Oklahoma City veterinary group spayed and neutered most of them. Since that time, all of her pets have been either spayed or neutered. Any diagnosed with heartworms or other ailments have been treated, as well. Most of her canine orphans have been adopted, but roughly 40+ dogs remain. With a heart as big as Texas, Catherine is very concerned for their well-being. She can hardly bear the thought of them being left to fend for themselves if something happens to her. Since Catherine will be unable to care for her "babies" as she begins the battle for her own life, she makes a sincere plea to any interested persons to contact her.
Ms. Catherine Titus can be reached via the first weblink provided. There is also a guestbook for anyone wishing to send her well wishes. I hope you will take a few moments to let her know you will be praying for her.
