Actually, Sharon, the misapplication of technology is an enemy. This "Topical Bible" [?] mashup of Yahoo! and The Bible returned 19 direct cites including "dog(s)" among over 40 cites Scriptural cites. On a second pass, only two were included. You'd think (and there's the flaw) a cloud approach would work with God - hmmm, dangerously not. In the Beginning was [only One] the Word, Michael K. Miller

Yes Dogs are mentioned in the Bible... however Dogs in biblical times were used to hunt and to eat the "scraps" of the family, Thats that. They were not looked at as "PETS" in the sense they are today. Yes Loyalty is a dog like vertue.
    Thanks for the research !

The list is helpful, if a funny reminder of just how hated dogs were in OT times. Your argument that because the word dog is used in the Bible 40 times they are "messengers of God" is equally applicable to excrement, or any other word used in the Bible, including articles and conjunctions....so I guess "dung" and "and" are also messengers of God? Intriguing.
