Brooklyn Community Board 2 recently had sites for new dog runs proposed to the them, because of the lack of green space available nearby to the influx of people moving into the new condominiums on Flatbush Avenue. Why a person chooses to move to a place that doesn't have green space, or green space they feel is too far away for them and their dogs to walk, to is beyond me. If you already know green space is extremely limited in a particular area, such as in downtown Brooklyn, along Flatbush Avenue, and yet you get a dog if you already live there, or you choose to move you and your dog into the area, why would you complain you don't have a dog run within 500 feet of your residence?

Post a CommentI think if you have dogs, you better live accordingly- it's like having 5 kids in a 2 bedroom house- you have to live to suit your family. Your guess is good as mine about why people would live where their dog cannot run- I own a dog and always choose a home with an ample yard because...duh...I have a dog!!!
