First, let's talk about money. A nice store bought wreath starts at about $45.00 and can go up into the hundreds. Supplies for this do it yourself wreath cost about $15.00. So for thirty minutes of your time, you can save at least $30.00. That's a dollar a minute saved by doing it yourself!
Here's what you'll need to get started:
1 vine wreath
Autumn/fall harvest ribbon
Glue gun
Faux autumn leaves and berries
Fall harvest embellishments
Wreath hanger
Start by wrapping your autumn ribbon around the vine wreath, I suggest using organza ribbon for the best aesthetic appeal. Tie a large bow out of your ribbon on the top of your wreath, make sure to save some ribbon to use for hanging your wreath on your wreath hanger. Next, take your faux leaves, berries and whatever other embellishments you choose and place them on your wreath in whatever decorative fashion you like. Do not use your glue gun until you are completely satisfied with the position of your embellishments! The finished project will look store bought and will last as long as a store bought wreath, it just cost significantly less!
