Dolly Parton Tickets Go on Sale Friday

Great news for Dolly Parton fans in the UK. Dolly Parton is set to tour the UK in 2011 as part of a World Tour to promote her new album "Better Day", which will feature 12 new songs from this country superstar singer/songwriter.

The tour begins on 20th August in Glasgow, and covers most of the main cities around the UK, before ending on 12th September in Sheffield. Other Dolly Parton concert locations include Nottingham, Liverpool, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bournemouth and London.

The full list of venues is as follows:

20th August. Glasgow (SECC)

22nd August. Nottingham (Capital FM Arena)

31st August. Liverpool (Liverpool Echo Arena)

2nd September. Birmingham (LG Arena)

3rd September. Cardiff (Cardiff International Arena)

6th September. Bournemouth (Bournemouth International Centre)

7th September. London (The O2)

10th September. Newcastle Upon Tyne (Metro Radio Arena)

11th September. Manchester (MEN Arena)

12th September. Sheffield (Motorpoint Arena)

This will be the first time that Dolly Parton has been seen in concert in the UK since 2008, and even though she is now 65, she is looking and performing as strong as ever.

Tickets for the Dolly Parton UK Tour go on sale at 9am on Friday, 11th February.

    @Abby They probably can't. I'm pretty good with a Tennessee accent these days, but even I have trouble when she talks fast sometimes.
