Dollywood is Tennessee's largest theme park and the inspiration of this park is Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton is an East Tennessee native and you can't visit Tennessee without visiting Dollywood. You don't want to miss the fun and excitement.
With the end of summer coming up, Dollywood has a program called 'Dollywood Nights'. The park is currently open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. The bargain comes into play if you visit the park from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The price of admission for "Dollywood Nights" is $25. That's 5 hours at the famous park for only $25. You can sure do a lot at Dollywood in those 5 hours! Ride the rides, eat the food, enjoy the free entertainment events and buy some souvenirs to take home.
Even the 'locals' are taking advantage of "Dollywood Nights". If you want to reward your kids for an accomplishment or treat them for their birthday, Dollywood is the place to do it.
While the kids are riding the rides, why don't you hit the many shops and pick up something made by local craftspeople. You can watch soap being made, or sit back on a bench and just do some people watching. When the sun goes down, it will cool off a little. You still need to remember that it is very hot and humid and you need to dress appropriately. Be sure to drink lots of water.
Park officials are pleased so far with the increase in attendance from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and they may offer "Dollywood Nights" next year for a two week stretch. Everyone loves a bargain and this is certainly a way to save a few bucks yet still have 5 hours of fun. This program only lasts until Sunday, so ve sure to visit this week.
If you are in East Tennessee and planning to visit this famous theme park, this is the week to do it. Enjoy the park and all it has to offer and save a few bucks as well! Remember, hit the park after 5:00 pm, stay to 10:00 pm and it will only cost you $25 per person admission. What a deal!
