Domino's Pizza Man Murdered: Youth Allegedly Killed for Pizza
What is This World Coming to when Three Youth Allegedly Kill a Man for a Pizza?
Arriving at Aline Valery's home in Boston, covered in the dead man's blood, three young friends of Ms. Valery's told her they had been in a fight. The three foreign-named suspects--20-year-old Michel Andre St. Jean and Alexander Emmanuel Gallett, 18 and underage Yamiley Mathurin, just 17, all sat down to eat the pizza they had stolen when they got to Valery's house.
"It was just a normal day," Valery said of the arrival of the three youth. One of the boys, Gallett, would end up sleeping at Valery's home after the crime, leaving behind blood-stained sneakers and some clothing behind, which police would find during their search on Thursday (9/9). But before then, Valery said, "He was just talking to me and I ate a slice or two of that pizza and he ate one and it was just a normal day."
The victim was a 58-year-old man from the Dominican Republic named Richel Novel. Novel left behind three children. His life, according to Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley was only worth a pizza and $100 to his killers. Conley doesn't believe Novel was specifically targeted, any pizza man would have sufficed to these killers who thought nothing of taking what they wanted at the end of a knife blade. They lured the older man to an abandoned home in the neighborhood of Hyde Park, a southern area of Boston.

Now that is one sad story. I hope these kids pay for this for the rest of their lives.
