Prices:
Domo's prices are very decent for lunch, no more than $8 for a lunch entree. Dinner tends to get more pricey, around $20 for a full plate.

Service:
I have heard some people complain about the service, but I have been here several times and never had a bad experience with the staff or the service. You're seated and handed a menu promptly, and the staff is very accommodating. If you tell them you need more time to order, they come back in 5 minutes with a smile on their face, instead of just forgetting about you. The food arrives quick and tasty!

Food & Menu:
All of their teas are exquisite, and they have a very extensive wine, beer and sake list. Prices are good, unless you're looking to get drunk.

All of their sushi is made delicately and uniquely with care, and beautifully presented. They have many different variations of Donburi, and even have a dish called Aoutou Donburi with jalapenos!

And another big plus, they have a lot of awesome vegetarian substitutions. Very accommodating!

Specialties and My Favorites:

For lunch, one of their most popular specialties is the Spicy Maguro Donburi. This dish consists of fresh Maguro tuna sashimi, kaiware sprouts, tangy ginger, wakame seaweed, and Domo's own special dressing of soy sauce and chili oil. It's truly exquisite!

Surprisingly, curry is a very popular spice used in Japanese cooking. The Aoutou Maguro Curry is amazing, the same Maguro tuna as the Spicy Maguro Donburi, but grilled with jalapenos and house-made steak sauce. This is very popular with many customers, and a lot of my friends.

For me, the Kaisen Nabe takes the cake. Shrimp, scallops, mussels, salmon and veggies in a miso and sakekasu broth. This might not sound as fancy to a lot of customers, but I am a huge fan of Japanese soups, and this soup is utterly breathtaking. It's warm, hearty, filling and delicious, but only if you love seafood as much as I do!

Domo's gets 5 stars. It's one of the most beautiful restaurants I've seen, the atmosphere is calm and tranquil, the food is divine, the service and staff are amazing, and Chef Gaku Homma is a culinary genius.

This is a must-go if you are anywhere near Denver.
