Saturday, November 14 is Don Bosco Hall's twelfth annual concert benefit Get Jazzy Evening.

The show will be in Dearborn at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m.

The event will feature jazz group Pieces of a Dream, a contemporary jazz group from Philadelphia.

The band has enjoyed consistent success by combining elements of R&B, pop and a variety of other sounds to their jazz foundations.

In 2001 the members of the group joined the prestigious roster of artists on the "Heads Up International" label and celebrated their 25th anniversary with the release of the critically-acclaimed album, Acquainted With the Night.

The Dearborn show will be opened by Detroit's own Randy Scott, who is a accomplished producer, composer, keyboardist and saxophonist.

Funds raised from the Get Jazzy Evening will go directly to support Don Bosco Hall's numerous programs for youths and their families.

Don Bosco Hall has serviced the Detroit community for 55 years. The private, non-profit agency opened in 1954 as a organization geared at mobilizing youth and their families to excel to their full potential within their community.

For more information on the Get Jazzy Evening contact Christine Gavin-Patterson of Don Bosco Hall at (313) 869-2200.

Tickets for the show can be purchased at the Ford Community Center located at 15801 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48216, at www.dearbornfordcenter.com, or by calling (313) 943-2354.
