He is can easily be labeled as the hardest working man in Hollywood. With thirty six movie roles and 18 television roles under his belt, Don Cheadle is a talented force in Hollywood.

Cheadle, a Kansas City native is a graduate from the California Institute of the Arts. Throughout his career he has been able to command the scenes he appeared in opposite top Hollywood names. With just about every character, he brings them to life with charm and charisma.

He made his film debut with a small role in the movie "Moving Violations". The 1985 comedy was about a group of misfit traffic violators sentenced to traffic school. That following year, he honed in on his acting skills by appearing in two episodes of the television series "Fame" and he also made an appearance on the show "L.A. Law". Some of his other television credits include "Hill Street Blues", "Night Court", "China Beach" and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air".

In 1998 Cheadle received an Emmy nomination and won a Golden Globe award for his portrayal of the legendary Sammy Davis Jr. in the HBO movie "The Rat Pat". He starred alongside Ray Liotta as Frank Sinatra, Joe Mantegna as Dean Martin, Agnus Macfayden as Peter Lawford and Bobby Slayton as Joey Bishop. "Hotel Rwanda" was a remarkable film released in 2004 that earn him an Oscar nomination. His next notable role was that of Graham Waters in "Crash".

He went on to star with present day Hollywood heavy hitters George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt in the remake of the Rat Pack classic "Ocean's 11". "Ocean's 11" was such a success that it spawned two sequels that were just as successful. Out in theaters now is "Talk to Me". Here Cheadle plays complicated D.C. radio personality Ralph "Petey" Greene.

The most fascinating fact about Don Cheadle is that we do not know much about him at all. Cheadle manages to keep his name out of the tabloids. The soft spoken actor has two daughters with actress Bridgid Coulter. His humanitarian efforts includes a co-authoring a book with John Prendergast, "Not on Our watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Defur and Beyond". Cheadle, Clooney, Pitt and Jerry Weintraub help bring aid and awareness to the mass atrocities happening in Defur through the Not on Our Watch organization.

Talent wise, Don Cheadle is the best thing Hollywood has to offer today. For his humanitarian efforts, he is to be applauded. He symbolizes the old charm of Hollywood among today's current flood of dysfunctional celebrities.
