Don Pennington Interviewed Me!

What an Honor!

x
Hey, everybody! One of the best and most innovative writers on AC, Donald Pennington has just posted an interview with your's truly! Y'all really oughta check it out! Seriously!

So, anyway, Don posted an article calling for ANY CP on Associated Content who wants to be interviewed. I had been reading his stuff for a few months, now (I reckon that avatar of the yellow diamond street sign with the little man beating his head against his 'puter in frustration really hooked me good, but it was, after all, his writing that kept me coming back!). So, I decided to take a gamble, and see if I could make the cut.

Actually, the article is mostly instructions on how Donald wants this accomplished. Within, there is a link that you must click on that takes you to another website. Once there, you will find the interview questions next to blank fields into which you enter your answers. One thing he asks, however, is that you first copy and paste the question being asked into the field, and THEN type in your answer in order to facilitate his ability to proofread and publish the interview quickly.

The questions are very interesting; specific enough to warrant a direct answer, yet flexible enough to embellish your answers with your own unique writing style. This is an awesome idea (one I truly wish I'd thought up first!), and so far, the few I read really shed light into the lives and personalities of CP's I respect and enjoy. Seriously, with so much more talent afloat in the Sea of AC, I'm actually quite surprised he went ahead and did one on me!

The only other thing Mister Pennington asks is that you return the favor by writing a review article about the interview process. Well, here's mine, and I hope it honors Donald Pennington even a TENTH as much as he's honored me and so many CP's with talent far superior to mine.

Once again, guys, click and read Don's awesome interviw with me! Or better yet; Click here and get Donald Pennington to do an interview with YOU! You won't regret it, kids!

Oh, and a final message to all my faithful readers: I might not be able to write much in the next couple of weeks, or visit any of my fave's pages for a little bit. I will be busy checking out all of Donald's other interviews, and the works of these CP's. Seriously, Mr. Pennington really did me a solid with this interview, and I feel I owe him big! If any of y'all get interviewed by this great Texas writer, drop me a line when it goes up, and I'll be sure to read it ASAP. Just, please be patient with me, and don't give up. God bless you all!

  • Donald Pennington though up this awesome idea to interview other CP's.
  • Then, he decided to put the word out to ALL CP's that he's doing interviews.
  • And, lo and behold, he interviewed little ol' ME!
A good, catchy avatar can help you get noticed on AC, and Donald's yellow traffic sign with the little man having a breakdown in front of his computer caught me like Rooster Tails catch bass!

My mother tried to read my interview last night, but she said his avatar was too distracting for her, and she kept laughing at it. I didn't even pay attention to it until she said it. I think it's cute. I also did a review of his marketing technique (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/672695/marketing_101_with_acs_donald_pennington.html). I agree that he's really on to something because it's a great way to network with AC users. We plug him. He plugs us. I'm off to read your interview now.
