When he sent me the interview request, I sat on it for a time. I had prior commitments and family obligations to work through. Ever the patient man he is, he graciously worked my interview into the mix when I finally got it done.

The other day, Donald Pennington called on little ol' me.
He wanted to play a game of show and tell, you see.
I was honored by his request.
I told him I'd do my best.

I read his work and was quite impressed.
But, to add me to the list left me distressed
Oh the great authors he's written about
He said, "Of you, I have no doubt."

Donald, my dear, you make me blush
The honor is like getting a royal flush!
Firing up his laptop, he pulled up a chair,
He coaxed me to open my soul and share.

I squealed with laughter and sheer delight
He's cunning, clever, and quite a sight!
My fears were calmed by Donald's gentle hand
Swiftly he processed me across computer land.

The memories poured out
