Donald Trump Chooses Between His Head & His Heart on the Celebrity Apprentice Finale

Reality Rehash
The Celebrity Apprentice concluded tonight with both Holly Robinson Peete AND Bret Michaels' LIVE in studio. Many wondered whether Bret would be on the show and even though his doctors recommended he not appear, he was there in full form. Their final task of launching a new Snapple flavor branded with their charities continued. Bret never got his dolly and improvised and even though he did shoot two commercials, a little mishap pushed him back to one. Holly on the other hand was very calm when it came to pre-production. Her commercial was underway and her presentation was much further then Bret's. It seemed like Holly had it in the bag because she was more prepared, but Bret's impulse kind of helped in in the end.

When it came to go-time both brought their games in a different way. During his practice Bret's daughter entered and you could tell he was excited to have her there yet still wanted to get to work. Holly's presentation was very professional and very personal for her. She spoke about her son and representing so many people as she stood on the stage. Holly was really on her game when it came to her showing and her commercial was funny and well thought out. Bret's presentation was a bit off but turned out well in the end. He was nervous and as he cracked jokes you could tell that it wasn't his crowd. He brought it back around though by leaving go of his script and going from the heart. His commercial turned out well too and was the same as his creative thought pattern. It was very in and out and jumped around. I liked it but didn't really get the message.

With both finished it was time for the final boardroom as Holly and Bret went in to fight for their chance to be hired. Bret's help both hurt and helped him as Darryl Strawberry was all for Bret and his leadership skills while Summer was kind of out of it. She has been friends with Holly throughout the entire show and although she worked for Bret, I still think she wants to see Holly win. Holly's help of Curtis and Maria didn't help too much while in the boardroom but Holly's talking skills did at least. She pumped herself to be in a good spot and although she spoke well about Bret, she made herself shine brighter. Out of the taped versions I wasn't sure who was going to win and the executives from Snapple didn't give a clear winner either.

The LIVE segments were interesting while some where dull while others were really touching. Talking to some of the early fired celebs was boring as they didn't have much to say about the show but more about selling themselves now. Like Rod who continued his time on the show trying to prove his innocence. Luckily he was gone early so we didn't have to sit through that week after week. It was also interesting to see the strange position Donald Trump is in to choose between Holly and Bret. Many believe that had everything been normal the winner would be Holly. However, with Bret's personal problems it makes many believe that he should be the winner. They are two differing sides and if I were Holly I'd be a bit upset if I lost because of that, but she seems fine about it. I'm not sure if Bret's determination off the show should be brought into play but you almost half too as I mean it's out there in the public. Holly however did a great job on the show and proved herself many times and although several people disliked her style, she was still more "with it" throughout the entire competition.

It all came down to Donald Trump's decision though and after several fillers, like Cyndi Lauper prancing around the boardroom table, he finally hired his third Celebrity Apprentice: Bret Michaels. In the end it didn't really matter though as Snapple also gave the $250,000 winning prize to Holly's charity as well so both got the money, Bret just got the title. What are your thoughts on who won? Was Bret the best choice or was Holly screwed? Vote below and comment!
