Donald Trump for President?

Alfonso Coley
Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump has proclaimed that America has become "the laughingstock of the world." The question may be, is "The Apprentice" a viable candidate for a new America, or is it a bunch of malarkey, just "whistling Dixie" about his preconceived notion that he can manage America better than our present commander in chief?

If an American actor can become president of America , then who's to say that the Trump cannot become the next president of the United States .

It may be easy to criticize a president whom not only has to keep the economy from falling through the cracks, but the commander in chief must also find a way to stabilize the economy, in addition to create new jobs in a volatile time in Americas restructuring phase.

"Trump says the country needs an accomplished president." In retrospect to his real-estate legacy, Trump has made mistakes along the way, and some of his deals were not as profitable as he would have liked them to be.

Donald Trump will make his bid known to the conservative party in June; until then, let's not hold our breath as we wait for the post-terminator to decide if he is the next savior of the Republican Party's image makeover.

It seems like the Trump is gaining more popularity pretaining to his presidential bid as a candidate in the 2012 nominee Republican pick. Thanks for everyone for leaving your comments.

Good article to remind us and to keep an eye on the potential players.

I'm not so sure. Trump ain't Reagan; not that Reagan was all that great. But he had a charisma that Trump lacks and a perceived humility that Trump also lacks. Besides, Trump has already pissed off the Ron Paul conservatives so he has essentially split the far-right elements within a Party that is already split. If he is lucky enough to get the nomination he's a sure loser as a representative figure of the monied interests that many people relate to the bankers who threw this country into recession.
