Turning Point accepts year-round gifts of new and used clothing for women and children, toiletries, new and used toys and food. They also accept monetary donations. • H.E.L.P.CrisisPregnancyCenter-The HELP Center offers assistance to women and their families who are in a situation of an unplanned pregnancy. This center offers clothing for the mother and her children, baby supplies and counseling. They accept year-round gifts of maternity clothing, children's clothing, baby supplies and monetary donations. They are located at 1700 Secrest Short Cut Rd, Monroe NC and their phone number is 704-289-5133.
• The Union County Christmas Bureau-This is a seasonal organization located at 1416 Skyway Dr in Monroe and their phone number is 704-292-2980. They accept new items of clothing, toys, gifts and food. You may also sponsor a family or purchase a gift tree.
• The Humane Society/Animal Shelter-These poor animals need your help too. You may donate animal food or money to this organization. Their phone number is 704283-9126.
• Churches-Most churches know many needy families and would be more than willing to accept gifts to pass along to these families. Check the yellow pages for addresses and phone numbers.
