Donna Karan Spring 2010 RTW

Donna Karan has done it again for her spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection. Donna was inspired by the elements for this collection; from the appearance of things wind and fire were her main influences. Each garment gave the feel that a rush of wind swept across it allowing for an ultra feminine collection that was both pretty and sexy. Asymmetry in the Air - Slide 6

Donna Karan's blush draped wrap dress is the embodiment of femininity at its sexiest. The asymmetry of the dress drapes in lovely folds at the bodice hem and the skirt. The light color fits in for a stylish daytime look; however, this dress will steam up the night at any event.

Smoke Blowing in the Wind - Slide 10

A modern twist on a simple design, Donna Karan's smoke grey wrap dress is simple yet elegant with a deep v-neck and kimono-look sleeves. The dress billows out in a cloud of smoke colored fabric in the back moving with model Tao Okamoto as she struts her stuff on the catwalk. This dress is perfect as is, however for a trendier look, a pair of black leggings can be worn underneath for a stylish change of pace.

Serpentine Fire - Slide 18

This is a strong suit for the woman with a strong attitude and character. You will need Beyonce's ego to pull off this morning mist, snakeskin print suit.
