Toothpaste can be used to remove most crayon marks from walls and countertops. Just make sure the toothpaste is white.

A good general cleaner for fabric and most washable surface if equal parts of vinegar and club soda. It will clean new stains on carpets and shine Formica counters. You can mix baking soda and club soda to make a fizzy cleaner for stainless steel sinks. Just be sure to rinse the cleaner off with warm water.
