I'm feeling very sentimental today
But there's something about springtime
That makes me think of you
The sunlight reminds me of your warm smile
The gentle breeze reminds me of your fingertips
Gliding over my skin
It's been so long since I last saw you
So long since I last kissed your lips
But I can still remember what it's like being with you
I know that we are separated by more than distance
And chances are we won't ever be together again
But promise me this
This one thing
Please don't forget about me
Let my love live on inside of you
I did the best I could to be here for you
I just couldn't hold on anymore
But I need you to know
Wherever I may be
You will be a part of my soul
So promise me this
That you will think of me sometimes
And know that I will never forget about you.
