Holiday e-cards are fun and an easy way to send greetings this season! They are not time consuming and most holiday e-cards can be sent free of charge. There are lots to choose from in styles to suit most holiday and seasonal occasions. The most difficult part is choosing which holiday e-cards to send. Once you start looking at the many websites that offer holiday e-cards, there will probably be a lot more time spent looking at all the selections, than actual time spent sending them! There are adorable e-cards with animation and animals, thoughtful sentimental e-cards and hilarious e-cards. Some websites have a membership available for an inexpensive yearly fee, but even these e-card websites have several free holiday and all occasion e-cards to choose from. Other sites don't offer any membership and do not require fees. You can choose from the selection of holiday e-cards they have for free.

One such free holiday e-card website is Make a Wish. This is the same wonderful organization that helps make the wishes come true for children with life-threatening illnesses. They do state on their Wish Cards website that donations can help fulfill their mission to help children. They do have holiday e-cards available and while it is not a large website, their mission is for a very worthy cause. They can accept on-line donations and a donation form is also available to download and print. The form and donation can then be mailed or faxed. They give a telephone number for donations, too. (1-866-880-1382) When you use the Make a Wish website for holiday e-cards, you will receive their on-line News Network and regular email updates with Make a Wish stories and other information. The pictures used for these delightful holiday e-cards are designed by the wonderful children of various ages who are a part of their network of "Wish" children. There are also photographs of some of these brave children. The holiday e-cards they have available are just one small way to help these children while having a beautiful holiday e-card sent to someone special. They have various holiday e-cards to choose from. There are Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's and even Winter Holiday. Make a Wish e-cards are also available birthdays and several holidays throughout the entire year.

Another unique website for holiday e-cards is RiverSongs. This website also does not require a membership fee. The main difference in their holiday e-cards and other e-cards is the size. These beautiful e-cards are full-screen after the e-mail is opened and enlarged. They really are pretty and the music is soothing and peaceful. RiverSongs has about twenty Christmas e-cards to choose from, along with Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan and others. They also have other holiday e-cards available including New Year's Day. The website states that five e-cards can be sent on each form per twenty-four hour period of time.

This website is called eCardica.com which also happens to be the address! This is a site you will need a membership to send holiday e-cards, but the price is $12.95 for a year. They then include three bonus months for free, which averages to .86 cents each month. There are still the free holiday e-cards but there is always a huge selection through the websites that charge a fee, and access to these is available with a membership. They still have at least 34 free Christmas e-cards including a few humorous and naughty selections. There are also Hanukkah and Kwanza holiday e-cards as well as others for throughout the year. If a membership is purchased, there will be options for other features available, such as wallpapers, calendars, and reminders. They seem to have the most humorous and lighthearted home page. It is a bright and cheerful site to visit for holiday e-cards, but they did have too many annoying banners for my taste. For the most part, eCardica.com is an interesting e-card website with a large selection.
