Don't Join Herbalife, an Honest Insider Review

MLM companies make big promises, and Herbalife is no exception. At first glance, Herbalife seems to like a very good company. You know they are a quality company because they've been around for a long time. Yet, Herbalife has some glaring problems, a few of which I like to talk to you about before you sign on.

When I first investigated Herbalife, I decided to do a search on the Internet. I wanted to better understand the company and its products. An important thing to note was how Herbalife distributors were doing their advertising. I found something startling. Listings for Herbalife products were 30% less than retail prices, which meant that distributors were seriously undercutting each other. This means that Herbalife products have very slim margins, making it difficult for new distributors. The other problem with this is its shows that Herbalife management was not taking any action to stop the undercutting. MLM companies without this kind of oversight are extremely difficult to join because new distributors have trouble making money.

The other problem with Herbalife is that though they produce quality products, many of their products are no different than namebrand products. Many MLM companies have started offering wellness products because everyone knows the baby boomers are retiring. But a company without a UNIQUE wellness product has difficulty competing in such a crowded market. After some research, I couldn't figure out why Herbalife products were better than just normal store products.

New herbal life distributors often complained on web forums that Herbalife has poor training and support. This is a serious problem because many people who join ML and opportunities do not have prior business experience.

Wellness companies need to grow and adapt to meet the changing needs of the times. It's becoming more and more poor and the products be both healthy and extremely low in toxicity. Baby Boomers are very conscious and informed about the quality of the products they support. We want to make sure that you're producing products that have a small carbon footprint and do not harm the environment.

Melaleuca is one of these types of companies. Unlike Herbalife, Melaleuca produces products that are significantly less than name brand store items. The product line is unique, and only available from the company. Melaleuca also controls the pricing, so there's no competition between distributors. This creates a much better business and shopping atmosphere.

Upon further review of Melaleuca's home business opportunity, their compensation plan is comprised of a multi-level, open-ended matrix plan. While there are some difficulties with this plan, if you already have a solid foundation in marketing, there is a good chance you will do well with Melaleuca. You have a choice of over 350 items such as household cleaners, personal care items, pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements to choose from, and Melaleuca is a solid, reputable company who backs up what they do. There is no question that with effective and current marketing techniques a distributor could make a ton of money with Melaleuca.
