WHAT: Intro to Food Preservation

WHERE: Parma Woods Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center

ADMISSION: Free but registration is required by calling 816-891-9941

HIGHLIGHTS:

At this class participants will learn tips in canning and freezing. And rumor has it that there might be some secret family recipes to be shared.

Now you can enjoy the results of your hard labor throughout all seasons of the year.

    I don't have any canning supplies, so I did a lot of freezing this year. I might ask for canning stuff for Christmas and then ask my mother-in-law for lessons, because she cans everything. This class sounds like fun.
