Like many people in the country, I am a huge football fan and the 10-1 Packers face the 10-1 Cowboys tonight on NFL Network which currently is available for satellite customers only. There has been a seris of events that has not allowed NFL Network to be placed on cable television. Mostly due from what I have read the NFL Network wants to be part of the standard cable package instead of a pay channel, which would in turn raise cable rates which are high enough as it is. Cable companies do not want to risk losing customers over this in particular the non-football liking customers that would never watch this channel, but still pay for it. It depends on who you ask, the Cable companies or NFL Network, the story that you would get. This is typical and the real truth always lies somewhere in between.
Back to the game, the next best thing is that NFL.com has the next best thing for free!! Click on the link provided and you can watch the game...sorta. Well, it is better than paying ridiculous fees. Check it out.
