Don't Sell Your Gold, Pawn It

Can you imagine, not wanting your gold? Can you imagine sending through the mail your diamond rings, gold bracelets, gold rings, gold charms and waiting expectantly for ten dollars for a solid 14 carat gold wedding band, if that?

Sure, times are hard. But, why should these crooks get away with swindling people who are down on their luck, and doing it legally?

What can they charge them with? You are being conned into putting your (get this) unwanted jewelry into a bag and sending it to unknown, unseen, crooks.

If you had to pay the postage, you wouldn't even break even.

If times in your house are like they are in many homes now in America, and you need the cash, pawn.

I cannot imagine the mindset of people who are ashamed of going to a pawn shop but are not ashamed into mailing their gold for $30!

In a pawn shop, the owner will evaluate your jewelry, weigh it and quote you a price. It is more than you will get from those crooks advertising for your (what the heck!) unwanted gold and diamonds. I know because I have done both. At one time, I pawned $2000 worth of gold, that is, I got $2000 for some gold bracelets. If I had mailed them, I would have received $50 and never seen those heirlooms again.

When I had the money, I paid off the pawn ticket and retrieved my wanted gold.

Let's say you never want to see some of your gold again. Again, a pawn shop will pay you more and you are really under no obligation to pay the ticket off. You will get more money for your gold and diamonds, you will see the person who is buying them, and you will retain ownership for several months or years, if you pay them off a little bit at a time. Hope springs eternal,don't be fooled by crooks working on your hard times.
