Don't Take Anything for Granted
Are you doing all that you can with all that you have? Do you appreciate every single moment with your loved ones or in your life, in general? If not, this poem is for you. Don't take anything for granted. Ever.
The clock ticks steadily
As it counts for us the days
While we're blindly peering
Through eyes that are filled with haze
Never paying mind
And forgetting how time flies
People grow and change
Things on earth are evolving
Before we know it
Things won't ever be the same
No rewind button
To replay what we have missed
Don't take for granted
All that you have with you now
A single moment
Can leave it all crashing down
