Not knowing just where I would go.
I had no idea what was in store
As life offered me another door.
I turned the knob and pushed with might
And saw you there to my delight.
You simply took my breath away
Oh God, I hope you're here to stay.
I've learned some things in this ordeal
That life just likes to wheel and deal.
For when I believed in love no more
There it was that brand new door.
I'm happy that I went on through
And I'll cherish every moment I have with you.
