Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price Review

Playing dress up and making myself up with stolen make-up from my mom was one of my favorite activities growing up. Luckily (or sadly?!) my daughter inherited this passion too. Needless to say daughter was overjoyed when I got her Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price.

The Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price not only provides a dresser and vanity table for my daughter (I can finally have my vanity to myself again), it has also provided her with a playmate! The Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price comes with a full sized "Dora" head, which has hair that can be styled! Dora's hair can be blow dried, curled, permed, crimped and what-have-you. It is absolutely adorable!

Let us not forget of course the fully size vanity table and mirror measuring twenty four by forty by eighty three centimeters, and a lovely stool too. Colors of the Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price are mostly purple and pink. I love how the mirror has a butterfly design on top too. The table also has a drawer, for storing my daughter's "beauty products" and clips of course!

Not only is the Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price fully sized to fit my daughter, it gives her an opportunity to play dress up while fixing Dora up too. My daughter sits comfortably on the stool and can reach the table top and mirror. I also like that the Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price is really sturdy. Not shaky or flimsy. The Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price was easy to assemble too--no problems with it at all.

I would have preferred to have the Dora head on the Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price to be removable though, since it takes up quite a lot of space. Also, we had some problems with Dora's "hair", but it was nothing a little detangler and leave in conditioner could not fix. I would also suggest washing the hair from time to time. All though this is quite hard, and we ended up wetting the entire table. But it is worth is if your daughter likes to play with the head a lot.

But all in all, the Dora the Explorer: Let's Get Ready Vanity by Fisher Price has been loads of fun for my daughter, for Dora and for myself, who likes to watch them make themselves up silly.
