Dorito's and Budweiser Display Best Super Bowl XLIV Ads

While the actual Super Bowl was a game to remember, many of us still care more about the Super Bowl advertisement competition. Each year, advertisers spend millions of dollars trying to capture the viewers' attention for 30 seconds. It truly is the pinnacle of television advertising as this game is the most watched program in the USA every year and probably the most watch program world-wide except for the World Cup final. Here are a few of my favorite super bowl ads from Super Bowl XLIV.

Woman brings home a date and when she goes into her room for a minute, she tells her son (about 8 years old) to be nice to her date. The guy sits down and grabs for a chip on the coffee table. The young boy says "Keep your hands off my mother, and keep your hands off my Doritos" and later slapped the man. Very cute. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bptmb0Yhmus

A Budweiser advertisement shows 2 young ponies on opposite sides of the fence. They grow up and eventually one of them bursts through the fence to happiness where we see two men enjoying a Budweiser while watching the animals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgFHJRyz_MA

Careerbuilder.com showed an advertisement about causal Friday in an office. This was no normal casual Friday - everyone was in their underwear. Someone then announced that casual Fridays would be extended to every day. I suppose this was to imply that careerbuilder will help you find a cool job like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBI3FOKgs1A

My favorite ad was another Doritio's ad with the dog. A dog with a shock collar on comes up to a man and tries to get a chip from the bag. The man says the dog should back first, but the dog doesn't because he knows he'll get shocked. Another dog comes over and helps to take off the coller and put it on the man. Now the dog barks, shocking the man, and the dog proceeds to eat the rest of the chips. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcDzc2UKAHY
