Dorthea's Christmas might sound like a seasonal store but it is actually a very popular store on Sutter Street. In fact the two most popular times for the store seem to be the Holiday season and the middle of summer after all where else can you get what you need for a Christmas in July?
As the name suggests Dorthea's Christmas is a store with lots of Christmas stuff. While this may not be your one stop Christmas shopping destination it is where you want to go for that something special. Dorthea's Christmas is not the place to go for a fake tree or some lights for the house you can get those at Wal-Mart. Dorthea's Christmas has nicer and more unique items such as German made ornaments.
While this may not be the place to shop for a typical fake tree they do have some very nice already decorated themed trees. What you are looking for will be easy to find as things are in sections and the sections are even in more sections. For instance there is a ornament section, there you can look in the glass section, vintage, and even the modern ornament section to name just a few.
With a name like Dorthea's Christmas you expect Christmas items and Dorthea's Christmas has plenty of Christmas items but it has so much more. Besides the Christmas items Dorthea's Christmas also has a popular selection of kitchen and dinning options. This kitchen section probably helps to keep the store in business during the slow months.
Dorthea's Christmas has been in town for a long time. There is a reason that this store has outlasted so many other stores. If you find yourself in Old Town Folsom this Holiday season or even any time you should check out Dorthea's Christmas.
