You see, it's just another Saturday night out with friends when Audra is threatened to take a dare or else be booted out of kick ass chicks; a social club that her friend s made up. And so, Audra walks over to a guy wearing a green polka dot neck tie and continues to talk him up. Meanwhile Jessie McKenzie is on a stakeout watching the very guy Audra tries to kiss. Could it be that the lady who just sat down next to his target is involved in drug running as well? Jesse McKenzie does not know but is determined to find out. Audra can not help noticing Jesse eyeing her across the way, and assumes that he is interested in her. Audra soon ditches the nerd for Jesse but Jessie is wary to the point that he asks her to go home with him. What better way to find out if she is involved right?
Soon the only things involved are their hearts for one another.
The plot drags throughout the book, with Jesse continuing to wonder if Audra really is involved with the bad side of life, and him also wondering if he can trust his heart to this mysterious woman.
Can Jessie McKenzie resist the package that makes up Audra Walker long enough to investigate her association to a member of a drug running gang? Can Audra tempt Jessie in deep enough that he forgets that she is off limits?
I grew bored with Jessie questioning throughout the book Audra's motives without any clear, substantial facts, I also grew bored with Audra's hard core sex attitude. Maybe it's the blaze imprint, that makes Audra's sexual side so blatant, but I did not like it. The dragging out of the plot was boring too. 2 stars.
