Dougies' BBQ Restaurant in Queens, NY
Dougies starts you off with tortilla chips and salsa and its main courses include all different types of meats, grilled or barbequed on their menu. They also have meat wraps and salads. They foster a child friendly atmosphere and their generous portion sizes are legendary for their customers.
For children, Dougies has crayons on the table for young kids to draw on the paper table cloths set on all the tables.
Dougies' specialty is their all you can eat buffet on Monday nights for $20. The all you can buffet includes all of their normal items on their menu like ribs, hamburgers, chicken, veal, Buffalo wings and steak. You can also take out food during their all you can eat buffet.
The Main course dinners and lunch meals at Dougies includes: tenderloin steak, chicken or beef shish kabob, deli sandwiches, burgers, chicken nuggets and much more. For people who don't eat meat, they have veggie burgers, pizza and pasta.
Prices are very reasonable at Dougies for the large portions of food that you get. Ribs are $22, Grilled chicken is $16, Turkey and roast beef is $15, barbeque chicken is $16, steak is $18, and burger prices are about $11. Dougies also offers a kids menu which is cheaper and has smaller portions of food. Altogether, the per person price if you order a main course and appetizer, you will probably pay a little more than $20. A final great feature about Dougies is that they deliver for free so that you don't even have to leave your house to get their great tasting food.
One of my favorite parts of eating at Dougies is that they have a very nice ambiance. The area is well lit, there is chatter filling the room, and the service is always reliable and fast. Dougies has a very large seating capacity and you can usually get a table within ten minutes, even on a busy night.
Parking can sometimes be an issue because they don't have their own parking lot. However, you can usually find parking on the side street. If you are looking for a great tasting BBQ restaurant, you've come to the right place at Dougies.
