Dove Shampoo and Conditioner: Moisturizes the Best

Shannon Frye
When I searched on Associated to see if there were any similar articles about Dove Shampoo and Conditioner, I only found one person who seemed to be disappointed with the results from using Dove Shampoo and Conditioner. While I don't really remember what the smell was like, I will make sure that I pay attention to that the next time that I purchase Dove Shampoo and Conditioner. Currently I switched from using Pantene Pro V, which seemed to work great for moisturizing my hair, for the first few days. I have naturally curly hair which extends to my lower back. If I purchase any type of conditioner for my hair, it seems to soak in the entire bottle.

The main thing with my hair is that I was to moisturize the hair. When I used Dove Shampoo and Conditioner it seems to do an excellent job and I didn't notice whether or not it made my hair greasy. I am usually very picky when it comes to my hair looking or feeling greasy in any way. Perhaps since I did not dry my hair, I didn't notice that the hair was greasy. I seemed to be very pleased with Dove Shampoo and Conditioner because it did what I wanted it to do. It left my hair feeling stronger and not as dry as it normally would be.

The only thing that I didn't like about Dove was the fact that their bottles are very small. I can use a full bottle of conditioner in less than a week. When you have very long hair you cannot use a small amount of conditioner or you will spend at least an hour trying to brush through your knotted hair. I've tried Suave before, and it seems as if I didn't even use conditioner, even though I really did. Some conditioners are so watered down that it seems that the conditioner just runs right down my hair into the drain.
For certain people, certain shampoos and conditions will work great. Some people might like the smell of some and dislike the smell of others. For example, there are a lot of different scented Suave shampoos. One of which is somewhat like strawberries and cream. When I first use this shampoo it smells really good but after smelling this for several weeks, it starts to make me sick every time that I smell it. The same goes for lilac. Even though I usually love this smell I simply cannot smell it in the shower because it's much strong than it would be when the smell is in your hair.

I am 52 and still have not found the right hair product for my over frizzy, curly, wavy, hair. I will agree that Dove is
a very good product and doesn't have as harsh ingredients into it.
