I probably got this product the moment it became available in stores. I actually got it for free while working at Walgreens as a beauty advisor. Each beauty advisor was given one as far as I knew. If I hadn't gotten it for free I probably would have never considered buying it for myself because I'm just not the type of person to buy into beauty gadgets. I've been using Dove's Skinvitalizer for years now and it's done a great job at exfoliating my skin.
What I like about this product is that it comes with a very affordable price tag costing about $9. I've seen something similar at Sephora and ULTA that were selling for $200. It does a great job of gently scrubbing away dirt, makeup, and dead skin cell buildup on my face. It's easy to use with only an on and off button. It's small and light weight enough that it's portable and can be easily packed away for traveling. Unlike other exfoliators there isn't a power level to this product, just one but it's strong enough to get the work done without being harsh on the skin.
There are a some negatives to Dove's SkinVitalizer too but not much. The first thing is that it's a two piece gadget. The SkinVitalizer is just the vibrating part, the important part are the cleansing pillows that are sold separately. Often times a few of the cleansing pads come with a SkinVitalizer to start out with. Dove use to carry a cleansing pad called Glow that works much like their Glow lotion. It's very moisturizing and nourishing while adding this wonderful glow to my skin. Now I've only been able to find their original cleansing pads in stores. Another downside is that although it's a fairly small size it's not as small as Neutrogena's version because of it's handle.
Dove's SkinVitalizer is a great product to have for any age, whether you're a man or a woman. It does a great job of cleansing the face of dirt and dead cells, and it does a pretty good job at removing makeup too. For only $9 it's a great buy.
