The National Domestic Violence Hotline offers several free brochures. Most of the downloadable pamphlets are available in either English or Spanish. Safety planning information, resources and several other titles are available.

Legal Aid of West Virginia provides several pamphlets that may be of interest to survivors of abuse in that particular state. Look for information on abuse protection orders, domestic abuse, HUD housing, information and help for lesbian and gay survivors. Other resources from the above link may also be helpful to abuse survivors.

The Center for Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Survivors offer several free brochures. Among these is information on how men can stop or prevent abuse against women, how to take steps to safety and manifestations. Information for teens is also included on this site.

Mission of Hope provides information on Muslim women support groups and what the Koran says. It gives examples of different types of abuse and lists some of the effects the types of abuse has on survivors.

Minorities Women Health. Gov helps survivors understand intimate partner abuse and makes suggestions on how to keep children safe. It also contains information for Native American Indians and Alaska Native Communities that may be of value.

Stop Abuse for Everyone is a Canadian organization. They provide information to help abused men, lesbians and gay men. Future pamphlets will cover information for teens and seniors.

This Virginia Hotline provides help with creating a safe space and other titles. Resources are available for religious leaders in the Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other communities of faith.

Hope for Healing.Org is in the process of updating this section of their website. Current information from this Christian organization includes stats, myths and facts and things not to say to a survivor.
