Download Online Videos for Free

Have you found a video on YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo! Video, or at any other video site on the net that you would just love to have available offline? Well if you have, then in this article you will find step-by-step instructions on how to download it onto your computer in the correct format so that you can watch it wherever you want. With Vixy.net you will be able to download any video that you find online for free, and you will be able to watch it on a PSP, on your computer, on an iPod, and even on a mobile phone.

Instructions:

1. Open up an internet browser.
Note: A browser with tabbed browsing available and enabled would be best.

2. Open up the video that you would like to download. Make sure that the URL link to is available for you to copy.

3. Find the URL code, copy it by highlighting it, right clicking, and selecting "Copy" from the pull down menu.

4. Now that you have it copied, open a new tab or browser window and type in, http://vixy.net into the URL search box at the top.

5. Paste the URL of the video that you want to download by hitting CTRL+V or right clicking and selecting Paste from the pull down menu. Make sure that you paste the code into the box labeled "URL:" on the main Vixy.net page.

6. Now that you've done this, look for the pull down menu in the center of the page labeled "Converts to:" and select a format that you'd like to convert the video to.
Note: AVI is for Windows computers, MOV is for Mac's, MP4's are for iPods or PSP's, 3GP is for mobile phones, and MP3 is for audio only.

7. If you're ready to start downloading and converting the video, click on the Start button under the Converts to: pull down menu.
Note: The conversion and downloading may take a couple of minutes, be patient.

8. Once the process of conversion has finished on your screen you will be prompted to click on a link that says "Download the converted video". Doing this will start the process of getting the video you wanted in its converted state onto your computer. All you have to do then is select "Save" and perhaps choose a location where you want it on your computer.
