There are free coloring pages available from the National Wildlife Federation as part of their Your Big Backyard program. The free wildlife coloring pages include a chipmunk, elephant, fish, frog, hare, llama, moth, octopus, owl, parrot, red panda, salamander, seahorse, snake, turtle, and walrus.

Free coloring book featuring fish

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service offer a free printable coloring book. This 28 page free coloring book has the ABC's of fishing. Some of the animals featured are the bluegill fish, the channel catfish, eels, the king salmon, and the largemouth bass. In addition to the coloring pages each page gives you information on the featured subject.

Free insects coloring pages

New Mexico State University has insect coloring pages that are written and illustrated by Carol Sutherland, Extension Entomologist. Your child can get very detailed with these free coloring pages. Some of the featured insects included are the spider mite, march fly, desert centipede, tarantula, vinegarone, scorpion, silverfish, thrips, aphids, damsel bugs, cutworm caterpillar, miller moths, cottonwood leaf beetle, blister beetle, and fungus gnat. In addition to the free coloring pages there is information about the featured insect.
