Here are some of my favorites.

Inspirational song #1 - We Are The Champions

We Are The Champions was written by Freddie Mercury and recorded by Queen in 1977. It is often played at sporting events after a victory by the winning team. It tells the story of the singer's challenges and mistakes in life and how he overcame them to become a "champion of the world".

Inspirational song #2 - Believe It Or Not

Believe It Or Not was the theme song for the tv show "The Greatest American Hero". It was composed by Mike Post and Stephen Geyer and recorded by Joey Scarbury. Implying that his life was boring and uneventful in the past, the singer tells us he is now suddenly thrilled with his new life.

Inspirational song #3 - Radar Love

Radar Love was written by George Kooymans and Barry Hay and was recorded by Golden Earing in the seventies. It tells of the singer's exhilaration as he speeds down the road presumedly to meet his girl. The two have an esp-like connection with each other which he calls "radar love".

Inspirational song #4 - We Are The World

We Are The World was produced as a fundraiser to help the world's underprivledged children. It was recorded by USA for Africa and written by Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson. USA for Africa consisted of a group of over forty recording artists including Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen, Diana Ross, Willie Nelson and others. The song tells a story of hope for the next generation of the world.

Inspirational song #5 - Born To Be Wild

Born To Be Wild was written by Mars Bonfire and recorded by Steppenwolf in 1968. This song was the soundtrack for the movie Easy Rider. Adam Lambert also sang this song on American Idol. It is about being incredibly excited about life and ready to experience whatever it has to offer.

Inspirational song #6 - All My Loving

All My Loving was written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. It is an early Beatles tune, released in 1963 on their Meet The Beatles album. It is a happy song about the singer's love for his girl and how he misses her when they are not together.

The next time you are feeling sad or hopeless and need some inspiration, download and listen to these songs or your own favorites.

I understood this well. Thanks, sunshine! It wasn't misleading. I know you are a fine writer. Even though I love the Queen song, I think I prefer Radar Love as my favorite. Love the drum sound. This is a very helpful article! Thanks.

Michael and Freakmamma, Sorry to mislead you by the title. It was unintentional.

So, from where do we download them? The title sounds as if you are including download sources, but I haven't found them in any of the links. Interesting assortment.

Interesting list. When I saw the title I thought that this was going to be about religious music ... I'll now remove my foot from my mouth.
